Full course description
Students who qualify for special education services receive an Individualized Education Program (IEP) which is designed to meet their unique academic needs. A team that includes parents, advocates, teachers, and school staff work together to build an IEP that outlines the learning needs and goals of the student, the services provided by the school, and how progress will be measured.This course provides an overview of how advocates can work with the IEP team members to build an effective IEP that meets the needs of the student.
